These terms govern your use of the Heroic Hearts Crowdfunding platform (“the platform”), operated by Heroic Hearts Org, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. By using the platform you agree to them.
Fundraising pages
Fundraising pages may only support Heroic Hearts projects listed on the platform. All gifts are paid directly to Heroic Hearts Org and are spent on the project the page supports. Organisers never receive or handle funds. We review every page before publication and may edit, pause or remove pages that are inaccurate, misleading or inappropriate.
Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe. There are no platform fees; the card processing fee may be covered by the donor at their option. Donations are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent allowed by law and a receipt is issued by email. Should a project become fully funded or impossible to deliver, Heroic Hearts Org will direct the funds to the most similar project in need.
Accounts and conduct
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the content you publish. You agree not to post anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing or deceptive, and not to misuse the platform.
