My name is Dr. Anjum, and I am currently in Gaza serving with the Heroic Hearts Medical Mission.
Many of you may have seen or heard the heartbreaking story of Maryam Ghanem, a young girl who witnessed her mother being burned alive. Maryam has now lost both of her parents and is living with her maternal grandparents.
I am one of the doctors treating Maryam, and I visit her regularly. I have seen firsthand the suffering she has endured and the care and support she desperately needs.
During my time in Gaza, I have also witnessed the incredible work of the Heroic Hearts team on the ground. I have full confidence in their commitment and ability to help Maryam and thousands of other vulnerable children.
Today, I am asking you to join me in helping Maryam rebuild her life and bringing hope to Gaza’s orphans.
Our first goal is to raise $10,000 for Maryam, which will provide housing, basic living necessities, and financial support for the next three years. We want to give her a safe, stable home and the opportunity to begin rebuilding her childhood.
But Maryam is not alone. There are more than 10,000 registered orphans in Gaza whom Heroic Hearts is striving to support through its monthly orphan sponsorship program.
Through this campaign, we hope not only to secure Maryam’s future but also to extend our support to as many of these children as possible.
