Children in Gaza are facing a severe medical crisis. Many are suffering from serious and life-threatening conditions that require specialized treatment and surgery that may not be available inside Gaza.
Heroic Hearts is working in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO) and health authorities to help evacuate critically ill children from Gaza to hospitals in Jordan and Egypt. Alhamdulillah, children have already been successfully evacuated and are receiving the specialized care they need.
Now, with a large number of patients assigned to Heroic Hearts for evaluation and evacuation support, we urgently need your help to reach more children.
The estimated cost to evacuate and support one child is $15,000. This helps cover:
- Medical treatment and surgery
- Evacuation and transportation
- Accommodation for the child and mother/guardian
- Food and daily living needs
- Local transportation and other essential support
For these children, medical evacuation can mean the difference between waiting without access to treatment and finally reaching the care they desperately need.
